I'm a little late this semester… aren't I? Ahahaha...

I definitely didn't intend for it to turn out this way! It's just after having spent all semester here at school, and then heading home to a big crowded place like Tokyo over the break... it's inevitable that I was going to pick up something, right?

Still, I don't think I've ever had a cold quite that bad before. It really knocked me out. And while I'm sure there was likely a healing spell which could have taken care of it, I didn't think it would be fair to... well, non-magic users if I'd just taken the easy way out rather than pull through it like everyone else has to, right? Bed rest and soup, that eventually took care of it. And my mother's home-brewed tea which should probably be in a potion class all its own... Eugh.

In any case, I'm here! Sorry to everyone in Pine house– they didn't punish you for my absence I hope...?

And it's not something I'd want to repeat, no. Mostly because as Mukahi pointed out, I'm now stuck with weeks' worth of make-up work... ^^;

I wouldn't go without magic if anyone's life were in danger, Eiji. And I don't think you can fracture anything with a cold. :) Though maybe your nose if you sneezed... very hard?

That makes Quidditch sound more like a circus act. At this school I don't think I'd be surprised to see that, actually... There's probably a spell for that, right? If you had a runny nose do you suppose it would just grow legs and run off...?

In a way it might be safer than typical Quidditch, though that's not really... saying much... I-I can no longer tell if you're joking or not because I would not be surprised to see anything like that happening here!
