I'm a little late this semester… aren't I? Ahahaha...

I definitely didn't intend for it to turn out this way! It's just after having spent all semester here at school, and then heading home to a big crowded place like Tokyo over the break... it's inevitable that I was going to pick up something, right?

Still, I don't think I've ever had a cold quite that bad before. It really knocked me out. And while I'm sure there was likely a healing spell which could have taken care of it, I didn't think it would be fair to... well, non-magic users if I'd just taken the easy way out rather than pull through it like everyone else has to, right? Bed rest and soup, that eventually took care of it. And my mother's home-brewed tea which should probably be in a potion class all its own... Eugh.

In any case, I'm here! Sorry to everyone in Pine house– they didn't punish you for my absence I hope...?

In hindsight. Though at the time it was difficult to ignore that little voice telling me I'd gotten over colds on my own without magic before...

Besides our compulsory classes here's how my schedule shapes up:

Herbology
Astronomy
Healing Arts
Natural History of Magical Beasts
Potions
Muggle Studies

... The Muggle Studies course was not my first choice, but I was told it should be easy for someone muggle-born. In any case it should be interesting to learn things from a wizard point of view. How about you?

Me, I went for....Astro+Div, Natural History, Potions, Charms, Transfig and Muggle Studies~

But Transfig is boring...shoulda really gone for something else or just stuck with five.

Aah, is it? I'll admit I didn't see much use in it for myself. How is Astrology and Divination? Predicted anything interesting for this year?

Considering some of the things that tend to happen around here, I don't blame sensei for being apprehensive about another year of... fun. Maybe this year's fun will involve less destruction...?

...nope. Sorry, Oishi-kun ^^; This year's as bad as ever. Maybe worse....according to the leaves and the stars. I'll check with my dreams...but I have trouble remembering sometimes ^^;
